When You Have to Eat Red Wine in Rioja Red Wine Brownies
Posted On August 2, 2021
The Brazilian red wine community is a riot.
There are no limits.
And you need to know how to make it.
I’ve made red wine brownie recipes for all of my Brazilian friends, but I never did the red wine-themed brownie recipe with the Brazilian red.
Here’s the recipe: 1 lb of red meat (anything from beef to chicken to turkey, whatever) 1 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of sugar 1 Tbsp.
cinnamon 1 tsp.
ground nutmeg 1 tsp of ground cloves 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour 1 cup white chocolate chips, cut into small pieces 1/8 tsp.
salt (optional) In a medium bowl, combine the red meat, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Whisk the dry ingredients together in a medium saucepan until the sugar dissolves and the spices melt.
Stir in the thyme, nutmeg, and cloves and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add the flour and stir until the mixture comes together and is light and fluffy.
Set aside to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
When the brownie is cool enough to handle, scoop out the brownies from the bowl and place on a cooling rack to cool.
Heat up the chocolate chips in a double boiler on medium heat until melted.
Stir the melted chocolate in a small bowl.
Add a few drops of the remaining cinnamon and sprinkle over the chocolate.
Set the brownIE aside to set.
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the white chocolate until it begins to thicken.
Remove from the heat and stir in the cinnamon and salt.
Cook until the chocolate melts.
Remove the brownied brownies and set aside to warm.
Place the browned brownies on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and heat for about 5 minutes on medium-high heat until the brownIES are completely warmed through.
When warm, place the browning on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool slightly before serving.
I usually top the browny with a drizzle of buttercream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
The brownies can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
