This is one of those things that you can make in less time than it takes to get a cup of coffee.
The martini is all about simplicity.
It’s like a cocktail, only better.
The secret is in the ingredients, which is what we’ll be covering.
It can take up to four hours to make your own martini, but you can get it done in less.
It takes about an hour to whip up the sauce, the wine, the ice, and the garnish.
Here’s how it’s done.
Bring the vodka and wine to a boil.
Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Strain into a martinet.
Place in a large saucepan and add ice.
Bring to a simmer.
Cover and let cool for 15 minutes.
Notes We use only one gallon of vodka for each martini.
