New York-based restaurant co-owner and restaurant critic Ben Coppola says he plans to open his first open red wine roasting in New York next year.
“I think there is a little bit of excitement,” Coppoli said of the event, which he said he is currently working on.
“It’s a celebration of the holiday season. “
It’s also just a good way to put on a party and celebrate the season. “

He has served as co-managing chef for the restaurant since the opening, and his co-owners have said he will help craft the menu.
Red Wing will offer roast beef, chicken, and turkey with a variety of seasonal vegetables and meats, including seasonal vegetables from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The roast will include “a big red wine roast with lamb, pork, and goat and roasted vegetables.”
A variety of salads and entrees will also be served.
The restaurant is also preparing to add a beer garden and a wine cellar to the tasting room.
“This is the first time that we’re going to be able to do something like this in the country, and it’s exciting to be part of it,” Coopola said.
“You can do a big red and you can do something a little different, and we think the people will enjoy it.”
New York Red Roast 2018 will take place on December 6 at Red Wing New York’s new wine bar, The Wine Bar, located at the corner of 14th and Amsterdam streets.
It will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a special special opening reception at 4 p..m, when Red Wing is celebrating its first-ever “Red Wine Roast” event.
The event will feature wines from New Jersey as well as wine from Pennsylvania, New York and Pennsylvania, with special offerings for those who visit during the holiday week.
The Red Roasters’ roasting will feature red wine from all regions, with a focus on the red-skinned wines.
Red wine will be roasted and served with a choice of turkey, chicken or goat, depending on the size of the turkey.
The Roasters will be serving complimentary wine glasses, a selection of beer and wine, as well.
“With Red Wing in New England, we’re really focusing on the region,” Coppa said.
Coppolo said he’s been thinking about how to do this for years, but the plan is to expand beyond New York.
